Voluntary Position

£10 per day out-of-pocket expenses

MAG saves lives and builds futures by working with others to reclaim land contaminated with the debris of conflict, to reduce the daily risk of death or injury for civilians, and to create safe and secure conditions for development. MAG shared the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize as a founding member of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines for our work to ban landmines. Our vision is a safe and secure future for men, women and children affected by armed violence and conflict.

An opportunity has arisen within our organisation for a Photo Tagging Volunteer to join our dynamic and successful Communications team. This is a fantastic time to a join an international charity that shared the 1997 Nobel Peace-Prize.

The purpose of this role is to identify appropriate tags from a range of images and therefore you will be provided with basic training around MAG’s work. You will also be responsible for maintaining a record of images and their identified tags, therefore data entry experience is important.

You will be required for at least 1 day per week for a period of 1-2 months. Attendance in the MAG office to complete the work is essential, however days and hours worked can be flexible within the Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm range.

Please note that as part of MAG's commitment to safeguarding, this post is subject to background checks before an offer of employment is confirmed.
