MAG saves lives and builds futures by working with others to reclaim land contaminated with the debris of conflict, to reduce the daily risk of death or injury for civilians, and to create safe and secure conditions for development. MAG shared the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize as a founding member of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines for our work to ban landmines. Our vision is a safe and secure future for men, women and children affected by armed violence and conflict.
We are now seeking a fully qualified Finance Systems Implementation Specialist to initiate a business critical project that sees the delivery of our Adaptive Insights (AI) business-planning tool.
We elected Adaptive Insights as our business planning solution some time ago, and whilst progress has been made, we require a further push in project scope, objectives and design. An internal candidate will be driving this project in January 2020, and therefore, the remit of this temporary role is to provide the focused resource required for project completion, including: Project Management, Stakeholder Engagement, and Review of existing design decisions. A full job specification can be found in our applications pack.
Given the importance of this role, and to keep the momentum going, we are only looking for candidates who can begin at short-notice, preferably mid-late October.
